RRRO Community Residents – Have you heard of the Yellow Dog Project? A community resident emailed us asking if we had heard of the Yellow Dog Project and if we could help share the details with the rest of the community.
What Is Yellow Dog?
The Yellow Dog Project was created to bring awareness to the general public about dogs who need space while training, recovering from surgery, or being rehabilitated.
Community Dog Owners – If your furry friend is a dog wanting some space, please consider attaching a yellow ribbon to his/her leash to let others know not to approach with their dogs (or children).
Community Residents – If you are out for a stroll and see a dog with a yellow ribbon, please respect their space and ensure anyone with you shows the same respect.
This is a great community initiative. Not only for our furry friends and their owners, but also for the community residents that share the pathways and parks. Please keep sharing ideas and initiatives with us so we can share with all of our neighbours.
