Event: “Crazy for Cupcakes,” a private Cupcake Decorating Class
Location: Michael’s craft store in Beacon Hill
Date: Tuesday, October 21st
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
A cupcake or cake decorating class was a suggestion received from several past ladies night out participants.
We will learn six easy buttercream decorating techniques and how to mix and match them to make fantastic cupcakes!
This is a private class just for the RRROCA ladies group with limited space, so you will need to register using the RRROCA online registration link https://www.compusim.com/rrroca/programs/. No registration will be available through Michael’s.
The cost to register for this class $11 for members or $46 non-member (which includes the $35 membership fee), not including decorating supplies that you purchase from Michaels.
The regular price for those supplies is about $35 (but shop early and use the coupons found in the newspaper or on their website to save up to 40% off). You will need to bring a few things from home, and RRROCA will supply the rest!

The Following Supplies should be purchased at Michael’s prior to class (Some supplies can be limited, so shop early):
- (1) Wilton Cupcake Decorating Set
- (1) Wilton 9″ Angled Spatula
- (1) Wilton White icing, 16 oz. can
- (2) Wilton icing Colors (your choice of colors; you will not need the entire container so you can share with a friend)

The following supplies will be needed from home:
- (6) cupcakes (not iced)
- A container to take home decorated cupcakes
- 1/2 tsp Measuring spoon
- A small container of water
- A damp cloth
- An apron (optional)
RRROCA Will supply the remaining items requested by Michaels:
- Toothpicks (used to mix icing)
- Gallon size zipper food storage bags (these are to take home your dirty items, spatula etc)
- Paper napkins
- Roll of wax paper
- Bowls for mixing icing
- Scissors
- Tape
- Pen/pencil
