Just a quick update on the NW LRT construction, post flood. In spite of the flood and its aftermath, crews received permission to proceed with the installation of the pedestrian bridges on June 26 and 27. The installation of the bridges enables the project to stay on track from a time perspective. (You have no doubt seen the new bridges.) In order to pour the concrete for the bridge decks, Crowchild Trail will be closed again overnight, one direction closed per night. Please see more information and maps of the detours here.
On July 15, Crowchild Trail travelling east will be closed from 12 Mile Coulee Road to Stoney Trail from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
On July 16, Crowchild Trail travelling west will be closed from Stoney Trail to 12 Mile Coulee Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
