The Energy department has instructed the ERCB to postpone all decisions concerning any wells within an urban area until the newly crafted Urban drilling policy is completed by the Energy department of Alberta. The policy will involve input from several stakeholders through out Alberta. The Urban drilling policy estimated timeline for completion is this coming January, 2013. Congruently, Kaiser is in discussions regarding the possibility of moving the current site (behind London Drugs/Wal Mart) to a different location.
We are encouraged with the recent developments and look forward for a positive resolution for all parties involved.
