The deadline for the relaunched newsletter is February 8th and we are very excited about our first issue. We would love community members to be a part of it—after all, this is YOUR newsletter! Here are some features we are working on.
We want your photos! Photographs take our newsletter to the next level both inside and out. Please feel free to submit photos to include within our pages but we even want to feature a seasonal reader photo on our cover! Please send us your high quality JPEGs of daily life in Royal Oak and Rocky Ridge, special events, and local wildlife and we will give you a photo credit. Photos from professional local photographers are welcomed but we will only credit you with your personal name, not the name of your business.
We Love To Eat
Do you have a favourite or unique family recipe that you’d love to share? Let us know and we’ll print it! But, we’d also love to hear the story behind the recipe; if it holds a special memory or why it’s important and special to you.
Get To Know Your Neighbours
We want to get to know you better! Send us a photo of your family and a brief bio to introduce yourselves; what does your family do for fun? What challenges do your family face and how are you overcoming them? What makes your family life great? How did you come to live in Royal Oak or Rocky Ridge? What observations or words of wisdom do you have to share with fellow residents? We want to feature a “family of the month”.
