The day started early as most days do for me! As Chair of Calgary Caucus, I gathered our Ministers and MLA’s and we had lunch with the Mayor and Aldermen. We had a great discussion and agreed to meet more often to keep Calgary’s issues at the centre of what we do provincially.

I stopped by Louise Dean School to meet the principal and some of the girls. We are so lucky to have this school, which provides a haven to young women and teaches them nutrition and well-baby care as it helps them get the kind of education that ensures their future self-sufficiency.

Louise Dean Schools dedicated staff create the kind of environment that ensures their girls feel safe and nurtured so they can do the same for their babies

I often meet with constituents at McDougall Centre since my office won’t be completed till next year . I have many of these meetings every week and McDougall is a beautiful venue. Can’t wait to get into my constituency office when it’s finally built….but I guess patience is a virtue!!

If the day doesn’t end too late, I get some time with my daughter. She’s a computer expert and I often rely on her. Can’t say I help her with her homework. She’s too smart for me now…lol!
