Members of our community, we need your help! The Community Association (with RRRHA sponsorship) is hosting a “ LAST CHANCE RRRO MIDDLE SCHOOL RALLY” to protest a recently changed ranking of the proposed Royal Oak Middle School from 2nd to 7th place. With a 7th place ranking it is extremely unlikely that we will receive funding for the previously planned middle school in our community. According to the Calgary Board of Education, (CBE), The School Capital Plan 2014 -2017 is due to the Province on April 1, 2013 and will be decided on by the Board of Trustees in March 2013. We have a short window of time to convince the CBE Trustees to revisit their ranking of our desperately needed middle school and encourage all residents of RRRO to attend the rally to ensure that our case is heard loud and clear!
Please join us on Monday, February 18th, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. @ the Rocky Ridge Ranch – 10709 Rocky Ridge BLVD NW. Skating, music and hot chocolate should make for an exciting, family friendly rally. If a middle school is important to you, it is imperative that you show your support by attending our rally.
