We would like to thank all the residents that have volunteered the last few weeks to assist with the variance request for the ERCB.<\/p>\n

We now have a Technical Committee formed, comprised of oil and gas industry experts from our community.\u00a0\u00a0This\u00a0Committee\u2019s\u00a0mandate is to review the Kaiser application in detail for any discrepancies in the technical spectrum.\u00a0 If any\u00a0discrepancies\u00a0are discovered, they will be submitted to the ERCB for the final submission later this month.<\/p>\n

We have retained the services of a legal firm that specializes in the legal aspects of the ERCB process.\u00a0 We will be reviewing all options regarding the request for an appeal with the ERCB and the surface land licence.<\/p>\n

The City of Calgary is addressing creating a policy for oil wells within the city limits.\u00a0 We are in contact with them and will keep you posted.<\/p>\n

We are\u00a0continuing\u00a0to pursue support from the Alberta Government to review Directive 056 and our current\u00a0situation.<\/p>\n
